A paper jogger (also known as jogger or vibrating table ) is a device used to align sheets of paper. Paper joggers are used in printing plants and partly in schools and authorities. The vibrators are usually used before or after copiers or printers , as further processing is difficult if the pages are not exactly flush with one another. Printers can also tear pages or jam. The sheets are placed in the paper jogger and aligned with the stop edges by the vibration of the device. When removing, you now have an optimally aligned stack of paper that you can immediately process further in other devices (e.g. printer, inserting machine or folding machine ).
