Horsley III papyrus

The Papyrus Horsley III (No. 865 after Rahlfs ) is a fragment of a papyrus code from the 3rd or 4th century. It contains parts of Exodus 4 : 2–6, 14–17 in Greek . The fragment is 5 × 7.5 cm, the writing is somewhat irregular.

The origin of the fragment is unknown. It was in the estate of the theologian Adolf Deißmann . Today it is owned by the ancient historian and classical philologist Greg Horsley in Armidale (previously in Bundoora ) in Australia under the siglum P. Horsley III.
