Setting parameters

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A setting of parameters is made in telecommunications law according to the Telecommunications Act (Germany) at radio stations . The administrative act can

  • single-stage as part of a frequency allocation or
  • be determined in two stages in a follow-up procedure to an allocation.

The aims of the regulatory authority are:

  • efficient use of the spectrum
  • trouble-free use of the spectrum
  • Data storage for connection tasks

Key points:

  • location-based (coordinates)
  • radio parameters (frequency, radiated power, elevation, azimuth, etc.)
