On the Paramount Plaza Walk of Fame in Grafton , Wisconsin - starting in 2006 - artists will be honored with a 'piano key' who have made recordings for the Paramount label, which was previously located in the town .

The 'key' awarded (it should be 44 in total) is 2 feet wide and 7 feet long and made of black granite . More buttons are to be added every year, each bearing the name of one of the honored Paramount artists.

The first to be selected for the 2006 awards by the Paramount GIG ('Grooves In Grafton') Organization in Grafton are Charley Patton , Ma Rainey , Blind Lemon Jefferson , Skip James , Thomas A. Dorsey and Henry Townsend .
