Paraverbal communication

As para-verbal communication that aspect is performance indicated that summarizes the individual characteristics of the person speaking. These are divided into voice , intonation and prosody , cf. also parasanguage

The paraverbal part, in contrast to the verbal and non-verbal part of communication, can essentially be heard. Among other things, voice pitch , resonance space and speaking behavior such as articulation , volume , speaking speed and speech melody including pauses in speech are perceived here .
