The Parish Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the Catholic parish church of the town of Fgura on Malta , it has been included in the National Inventory of the Cultural Assets of the Maltese Islands .

history

As early as 1790, the small church Our Lady of Mount Carmel was built in the village. The new building was designed by the architect Victor Muscat Inglott in the 1960s , the statics calculated by the engineer Godfrey Azzopardi. The original plan was to build a free-standing building. The plans were not implemented until 1988 and the church was consecrated to Our Lady on Mount Carmel on February 1, 1990.

The church is built on a square floor plan in the modern style. Four supports form the roof into a symmetrical cross. It has been registered in the National Inventory of the Cultural Property of the Maltese Islands since December 16, 2011 .
