Equal educational institution
The Paritätische Bildungswerk Bundesverband eV was founded in 1964 as an amalgamation of nationally active non-governmental and non-profit organizations, institutions and educational establishments that work without political or denominational ties. The association is based in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin .
The aim is to make a contribution to social justice, equality, education for democracy and the advocacy of human rights by promoting social education.
The Bildungswerk deals with current social developments and implements them practically and politically in cooperation with its Paritätische Akademie, founded by the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband , and other educational institutions.
Thematic focus is family education , children and youth education , intercultural and gender-reflective educational work. Another focus is the implementation of youth projects such as social boys, face2face, social course on Boys'Day or Daddy be cool and the promotion of cultural measures with educationally disadvantaged young people.
