The parliamentary elections in St. Lucia on 30 April 1987 ( English general elections ) were the fifteenth general elections in St. Lucia .

An election had already taken place on April 6, 1987. The United Workers Party emerged victorious from this, but the lead was so narrow that the then Prime Minister John Compton called for new elections, which only confirmed the result. The turnout was slightly higher, but the distribution of seats between the parties remained the same. These elections were held on April 30th after just 24 days.
