The Parque Colón (Eng .: Columbus Park) is a public green space in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires . It is located behind the Casa Rosada , in the Montserrat district .

The park is traversed by the Avenida de la Rábida and offers a beautiful view of the Casa Rosada.

In the center of the complex is a statue of Christopher Columbus , a donation from the Italian community in Buenos Aires. The statue was created by Arnaldo Zocchi from Carrara marble and is a good six meters high. The statue was inaugurated in 1921.

At the southeast corner of the park is the Edificio Libertador , at the north end the main post office .
