Partha Sarathi Mukherjee (musician)

Partha Sarathi Mukherjee is an Indian tabla player.

Mukherjee first had lessons from his father Ashok Kumar Mukherjee , and later from his teacher Samta Prasadji . He undertook concert tours through India and abroad as a soloist and as a partner of musicians such as Budhaditya Mukherjee , Shubha Mudgal , Parveen Sultana , Shruti Sadolikar , Shahid Parvez , Shujaat Khan , Pandit Rajan and Sajan Mishra , Laxmi Shankar , Malini Rajurkar , Ronu Majumdar , Nishat Khan and Imrat Khan .

He plays the classical repertoire for tabla, besides performing with dancers and composing for Anurheka Ghosh's company. In Europe and the Middle East he worked with Ross Daly , Eduardo Niebla , Achim Tang , Giorgio Serci , Ronny Barrac and Deepak Ram , among others .
