Partner in Pet Food (PPF Europe) is a European manufacturer of feed for pets . The headquarters of the group of companies is in the Hungarian capital Budapest , eight production sites are located in Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. PPF is one of the largest white label - or trademarks maker of dog and cat food (wet and dry food) in Europe, customers are mainly European supermarket and discount chains.

In 2014, PPF employed around 1200 people, achieved group sales of around 235 million euros and produced approximately 420,000 tons of feed.

history

The company was originally part of the Dutch Provimi group, which had been owned by the British subsidiary Permira since 2007 . In the course of the sale of Provimi to the US agricultural group Cargill in 2011, the pet food division was spun off from the group, sold to the US private equity investment company Advent International and then renamed. In 2013, PPF took over the pet food division of the Hungarian agricultural and feed company Agro-Trust. In 2015, Advent sold PPF to British financial investor Pamplona Capital Management for 315 million euros .
