Paschen & Company
Paschen & Companie was a Münsterland company based in Wadersloh . Founded in 1883 by Carl Paschen as a manufacturer of cigar boxes , the company switched to the manufacture of consumer furniture after the Second World War . Since the beginning of the 1990s, Paschen & Companie has specialized in the manufacture of library furniture for private and professional users. The company was the market leader in this area .
In 2007, 15,000 libraries sold - including numerous custom-made products - achieved a turnover of 40 million euros. After bankruptcy in 2015, the company traded as Paschen GmbH and employed 92 people. The Paschen family left the company.
After a new application for insolvency was filed in May 2016, the end of Paschen GmbH at the end of 2016 was announced on August 1st.
