Passavant & Cie. was a Basel private bank that existed from 1800 to 1923.

It was founded in 1800 by Hans Franz Passavant . In 1854, the company was one of six Basel private banks that formed a consortium to form the Basler Bankierverein , later the “Bankverein”, one of the predecessors of UBS .
