Patient converters

Patient converters are required for transferring or transferring patients from an operating table to a patient transport system or patient bed. Patient converters are an aid for back-friendly work in care .

A distinction is made between stationary and mobile converters. Stationary patient converters are permanently installed as patient transfer locks at the beginning of the operating theater entrance. Mobile patient converters can be used flexibly at different locations and can also be equipped with a patient transport function. Umbetter are mainly used in the operating theater or in the emergency room of a hospital. The patient is repositioned by sliding the bed surface with the roll-up mechanism and transfer tape under the patient, thus ensuring a safe transfer from the bed to the operating table or vice versa.
