Patriarchal Exarchate of Istanbul

The Patriarchal Exarchate Istanbul is an immediates exarchate of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Istanbul . It is directly subordinate to the Melkite Patriarch of Antioch .

Archimandrite Maximos Mardelli was Patriarchal Exarch from 1946 to September 1955 . Bishop Rubén Tierrablanca González OFM, from Mexico, has been the patriarchal administrator since April 16, 2016 .
