Patrick Glanzmann (born August 18, 1969 in Biel ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player .

Career

Patrick Glanzmann began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth of EHC Biel , for whose professional team he made his debut in the National League A in the 1987/88 season , where he was only on the ice in one game. In the following season, the winger scored two goals in 35 games for Biel, before he was under contract from 1989 to 1991 for one year each with the second division clubs SC Lyss and SC Rapperswil-Jona . He then returned to Biel, for which he played until 1995. From 1995 to 1998, Glanzmann ran in the NLA for HC Ambrì-Piotta and HC La Chaux-de-Fonds before taking a two-year break from ice hockey. For the 2000/01 season, the Swiss returned to professional ice hockey and played a total of 33 games, in which he scored eleven points, including six goals, for the National League B promoted HC Ajoie .
