Patrick Loertscher

Patrick Loertscher (born September 16, 1964 in Bern ) is a Swiss landscape photographer .

Life

Patrick Loertscher attended the Rudolf Steiner School in Bern from 1972 to 1982 and then completed an apprenticeship as a photolithographer at the Bern School of Applied Arts until 1986 . He has been working as a photographer since 1989.

Patrick Loertscher founded his own publishing house in 1995, which mainly publishes photo art calendars. In 2005 he opened his “Wilderness Gallery” in Heiden with large format landscape photographs from all five continents.

In 2015 he was the first Swiss landscape photographer to be awarded the title of “Master of Photography” by the Federation of European Professional Photographers.
