Patrick McGrath (politician)
Patrick McGrath (late 19th century ; † June 20, 1956 ) was an Irish politician and member of the Dáil Éireann .
McGarth was elected on June 14, 1946 for the Fianna Fáil in a by-election in the 12th Dáil Éireann and was able to defend his mandate in the following elections. McGarth remained a member of the Dáil Éireann ( Teachta Dála ) until his death .
In 1952 he was elected Lord Mayor of Cork and held this office until his death. He was also a member of the Cork County Council and various organizations and committees.
McGarth had a daughter.
