Pattex is a brand for adhesives of the Henkel Group based in Düsseldorf . The range includes different adhesives for private and craft use.

history

With the introduction of the first cold-curing contact adhesive in 1956, Henkel initially served the shoemaking trade. In 1958, the developers constructed a special filling machine for cans or tubes so that small containers could also be offered for crafts and households.
From 1972 there was "Pattex Compact", which neither drips nor pulls strings. 1981 came hot glue in the range, the 1982 Pattex- superglue and 1983 Pattex gun for heat sealing with hot melt adhesive cartridges. Assembly adhesives followed in 1990. In 2001 the adhesive modeling clay "Repair-Express-Power-Knete" was introduced and in 2007 the flexible superglue "Ultra-Gel". In 2009 “Pattex gluing instead of drilling” was introduced.
