Paul A. Shapiro

Paul A. Shapiro is an American historian.

Life

Paul A. Shapiro is the director of the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in New York. He is a member of the International Committee for the International Tracing Service (ITS) in Bad Arolsen . Shapiro was one of the driving forces behind the conversion of the ITS into an archive that is accessible to research and the public.

Shapiro received the Federal Cross of Merit in 2010 .
