Paul Birdsall Prize
The Paul Birdsall Prize is currently a biennial science award for the most outstanding English-language publication in the field of European military and strategic history . It is awarded by the American Historical Association (AHA). In 1985 it was donated by the historian Hans W. Gatzke . It is named after the historian Paul Birdsall .
