Paul Brecht

Paul K. Ludwig Brecht (born June 29, 1861 in Osterburg (Altmark) , † after 1935) was a German physician .

Life

Paul Brecht, who came from Altmark , was the son of the actuary Ludwig Brecht. He studied 1882-1886 medicine at the Kaiser Wilhelm Academy for military education and received his PhD on 12 December 1886 by Dr. med. He was then promoted to assistant doctor in 1888 and in 1905 became the personal doctor of the Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Coburg. He was then awarded the title of Grand Ducal Secret Medical Council on August 2, 1906. In the Infantry Regiment No. 95 in Gotha he worked as a senior staff doctor and regimental doctor. Later he rose to the position of chief general physician and district physician.
