Paul Dissinger (born August 17, 1877 in Friesenheim , † December 14, 1964 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) was a German politician.

Life and work

Paul Dissinger was an administrative officer in his home town of Friesenheim. After the incorporation into Ludwigshafen am Rhein, he became mayor of the city.

Dissinger joined the Center Party in 1898 and was a member of the city ​​council of Ludwigshafen am Rhein from 1922 to 1933 . From 1924 to 1933 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament for the Center , where he represented the constituencies of Ludwigshafen I and II, among others. In 1933 he was also a member of the Palatinate District Assembly.

After the Second World War he was a co-founder of the CDU in Ludwigshafen and was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Advisory Assembly in 1946/47 .
