Paul Furrer (born October 16, 1963 ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

He has been a member of the Schwyz Cantonal Council since 2007 and lives in Schwyz . He has been parliamentary group president and member of the council since 2013. Since 2016 he has presided over the Cantonal Commission for Health and Social Affairs.

Paul Furrer is a trained pastry chef, social worker HF and qualified home manager. He has been working for the BSZ Foundation for People with Disabilities since 1987, where he is responsible for the housing and day-care center at the Seewen location . Furrer is the former president and current vice-president of the St. Martin housing association in Schwyz. He is married and has three daughters.
