Seewen is a village within the municipality of Schwyz , the capital of the Swiss canton of the same name .

Seewen lies west of the spots Schwyz and east of Urmiberg . There you will find the Schwyz train station with an express train stop, a bus terminal operated by Auto AG Schwyz , the Schwyzerland cheese dairy and several restaurants. A stream flows through Seewen, the Seeweren .
Events
In Seewen there is a bathing establishment on the Lauerzersee and an ice hockey stadium , in which the EHC Seewen trains. The Seewen Markt shopping center was opened in 2004 .
