Rickenbach bei Schwyz is a village within the political municipality of Schwyz , the capital of the Swiss canton of the same name .

Rickenbach is northeast of Schwyz. The hamlet «Perfiden» is located southeast of Rickenbach.

Events

It became known through the Rickenbach teacher training college , which closed its doors in 2006. Teaching was taken over by the Schwyz University of Education in Goldau .

The Association of Alumni of the Rickenbach Teachers' College was founded in 1941.
