Paul Mercier (actor)

Paul Mercier (born July 13, 1962 in Washington DCUnited States ) is an American actor and voice actor . His best-known video game roles include Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4 and Specter in SOCOM .

Life

After professional engagements with a touring group and several other theaters in Washington, Mercier was accepted into the acting program of Adelphi University in 1980. After winning the Alexander-Barnes Acting Competition, he received a full scholarship for each of his four years.

During the scholarship he already appeared on several stages. Mercier made his film debut in Wrestling with God . He was trained with the Royal Shakespeare Company at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in Central London.

Mercier is married to Paula Tiso.
