Paul Nogier

Paul Nogier (* 1908 in Lyon ; † May 15, 1996 ibid) was a French doctor.

He was the son of Thomas Nogier and Professor of Medical Physics at the Medical School of Lyon. Nogier graduated from the central school in Lyon with a degree in physics within three years. He also studied medicine, homeopathy and chirotherapy there . The development of ear acupuncture by Nogier followed in 1951. The first publication of his findings appeared in 1956. Nogier discovered the reflex auriculo-cardiale , which has been called the Nogier pulse ever since . In the following years he developed auriculotherapy. In January 1996 he founded the International Paul Nogier School .
