Paul Razavet
Paul Razavet ( July 27, 1882 in Auray , Morbihan department - after 1932) was a French opera singer ( lyric tenor ) and vocal teacher .
Life
Razavet made his debut in Verviers in 1911, quite late for a singer. After stints at the operas of Nice, Nantes, Montpellier and Vichy, he was used as a soldier in the First World War in 1914. In 1918 he signed up to the Theater de la Monnaie in Brussels as a lyric tenor. The engagement ended in 1925, after which he first moved to the Bordeaux Opera and then to the Opéra-Comique in Paris. There he made his debut as " Werther " in the opera by Jules Massenet . In 1932 he ended his career in order to work as a singing teacher in Paris. His further life is unknown.
