Banvou is a French municipality with 615 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . It belongs to Arrondissement Argentan and Canton La Ferte-Mace (2015: Canton Messei ). The inhabitants are called Banoïciens .

geography

Banvou is located on the small Morinière river . The Varenne delimits the municipality to the north and west. Banvou is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Châtellier in the north and west, Saint-André-de-Messei in the north-east, La Ferrière-aux-Étangs in the east, Dompierre in the south and Saint-Bômer-les-Forges in the west and south-west.
