Merri is a French commune with 163 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Orne department in the Normandy region (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Argentan and the Canton of Argentan-2 ( Trun until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Merriens .

geography

Merri is about twelve kilometers north-northwest of the city center of Argentan . Merri is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Crocy in the north and northwest, Ommoy in the east and northeast, Bailleul in the south and southeast, Brieux in the south and southwest, Vignats in the west and southwest and Fourches in the west.
