La Lande-Patry is a French commune with 1,791 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Argentan and the canton of Flers-1 (until 2015: canton of Flers-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Landais .

La Lande-Patry is 48 kilometers southwest of Caen . The Visance forms the northern and the Vère the eastern municipal boundary . La Lande-Patry is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Caligny in the north, Saint-Georges-des-Groseillers in the east, Flers in the south, Saint-Paul in the south-west, Landisacq in the west and Cerisy-Belle-Étoile in the north-west.
