The Vère is a river in France that runs in the Normandy region . It rises under the name Ruisseau du Vivier near the hamlet of Le Vauru in the municipality of Landigou , drains in an arc from southwest over west to northeast and flows after 25 kilometers at the town of Pont Erembourg on the municipal border of Saint-Pierre-du-Regard and Saint- Denis-de-Méré as a left tributary into the Noireau . On its way, the Vère crosses the Orne department and, at its mouth, also touches the neighboring Calvados department for a short distance .
