Dompierre is a French municipality with 406 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Orne in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Argentan and the canton of La Ferté-Macé ( Messei until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Dompierrois .
geography
Dompierre is about forty kilometers west-southwest of Argentan . Dompierre is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Banvou in the north, La Ferrière-aux-Étangs in the east and northeast, Champsecret in the south, east and west and Saint-Bômer-les-Forges in the west and northwest.
