The District of La Ferte-Mace is a French constituency in the arrondissements Alençon and Argentan in Orne in the region of Normandy ; its main town is La Ferté-Macé , and José Collado has been a representative in the General Council of the département since 2008.
The canton is 223.58 km² and has (2017) 15,030 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 67 inhabitants per km².

Until the reorganization, the canton of La Ferté-Macé consisted of the 9 municipalities of Antoigny , Couterne , La Ferté-Macé , Lonlay-le-Tesson , Magny-le-Désert , Méhoudin , Saint-Maurice-du-Désert , Saint-Michel-des -Andaines and La Sauvagère . Its layout corresponded to an area of 136.62 km 2 .
