The Canton Tinchebray was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Argentan , in Orne and the region Basse-Normandie ; his main town was Tinchebray-Bocage , and Jérôme Nury was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2004 to 2015. The canton was 156.28 km² and had 8,290 inhabitants (1999), which corresponded to a population density of 53 inhabitants per km².
