Frênes

Frênes is a village in the French department of Orne in Normandy . The previously independent municipality was merged with Tinchebray, Beauchêne , Larchamp , Saint-Cornier-des-Landes , Saint-Jean-des-Bois and Yvrandes to form the Commune nouvelle Tinchebray-Bocage with effect from January 1, 2015 . Since then it has been a Commune déléguée .

Neighboring towns are Saint-Quentin-les-Chardonnets in the north-west, Montsecret-Clairefougère in the north, Cerisy-Belle-Étoile in the east, Landisacq in the south-west and Tinchebray in the west.
