Beauchêne is a town with 2,606 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French community Tinchebray-Bocage in Orne in the region of Normandy .

The formerly independent municipality of Beauchêne was merged with Frênes , Larchamp , Saint-Cornier-des-Landes , Saint-Jean-des-Bois , Tinchebray and Yvrandes to form the Commune nouvelle Tinchebray-Bocage with effect from January 1, 2015 . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée .
