Saint-Jean-des-Bois

Saint-Jean-des-Bois is a village in the French department of Orne in Normandy . The previously independent municipality was merged with Yvrandes , Tinchebray, Beauchêne , Frênes , Larchamp and Saint-Cornier-des-Landes to form the Commune nouvelle Tinchebray-Bocage with effect from January 1, 2015 . Since then it has been a Commune déléguée .

Neighboring towns are Saint-Christophe-de-Chaulieu in the north-west, Le Ménil-Ciboult in the north, Tinchebray in the north-east, Yvrandes in the south-east, Ger in the south and Le Fresne-Poret in the south-west.
