The Canton Briouze was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Argentan , in Orne and the region Basse-Normandie ; its main town was Briouze , and Jean-Pierre Salles was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2004 to 2015.

The canton was 160.33 km² and had 4,341 inhabitants (1999), which corresponded to a population density of 27 inhabitants per km². It was on average at 231 meters above sea ​​level , between 157 m in Lougé-sur-Maire and 345 m in Le Ménil-de-Briouze .
