The Canton Passais was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement of Alençon , in the Orne department and in the region of Basse-Normandie ; its main place was Passais . Christophe Gallienne was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 2004 to 2015. The canton was 151.69 km² and had (1999) 3,833 inhabitants, which corresponded to a population density of 25 inhabitants per km². It was on average 162 meters above sea level , between 107 m in Saint-Fraimbault and 262 m in Torchamp .
