La Sauvagère is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Les Monts d'Andaine with 1,014 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . The inhabitants are called Sylvagériens .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former communes of La Sauvagère and Saint-Maurice-du-Désert were merged to form a nouvelle commune called Les Monts d'Andaine and exercise the status of a commune déléguée in the new commune. The administrative headquarters are in La Sauvagère. The municipality of La Sauvagère belonged to the Arrondissement of Alençon and the canton of La Ferté-Macé .
