Saint-Clair-de-Halouze is a French municipality with 863 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Argentan arrondissement and is part of the canton of Flers-1 (until 2015: canton of Domfront ). The inhabitants are called Halouziens .

geography

Saint-Clair-de-Halouze is about eight kilometers south-southwest of Flers . The Halouze River limits the municipality to the south. Saint-Clair-de-Halouze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Chapelle-Biche in the north, La Chapelle-au-Moine in the north and northeast, Le Châtellier in the east, Saint-Bômer-les-Forges in the south, and Tinchebray-Bocage in the west as well as Chanu in the northwest.
