Commeaux is a French commune with 154 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Orne department in the Normandy region (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Argentan and the Canton of Argentan-1 (until 2015 Argentan-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called commelais .
geography
Commeaux is about nine kilometers northwest of Argentan city center . Commeaux is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Montabard in the north, Occagnes in the south and east, Monts-sur-Orne in the south and south-west, Ri in the west and Rônai in the north-west.
