Nécy is a French commune with 519 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Orne department in the Normandy region (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Argentan and the Canton of Argentan-1 (until 2015 Trun ).

Nécy is about twelve kilometers north-northwest of the city center of Argentan . Nécy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vignats in the north and northeast, Brieux in the east, Montabard in the east and southeast, Rônai in the south and southwest and La Hoguette in the west and northwest.

The A 88 car route runs along the western edge of the municipality .
