Paul Ugowski
Paul Ugowski (born March 25, 1908 in Düsseldorf , † July 27, 1967 ) was a German manager in the construction supply industry.
Life
After completing a commercial apprenticeship, Ugowski studied economics at the Technical University of Munich and the University of Cologne (Diplom-Kaufmann). On April 1, 1933, he entered the main audit department of the United Steel Works and in 1935 moved to the raw materials department, where he was appointed authorized signatory in 1941. During this time he was in 1939 in Munster with the work -devaluation pounds and its impact on long-term bonds issued by the German industrial companies, the dollar and the Dr. rer. pole. PhD.
He was a member of the board of directors from 1946, later chairman of the board of the Rheinisch-Westfälische Kalkwerke AG . He was chairman of the supervisory board of Westdeutsche Kalk- und Portlandzement-Werke AG in Cologne. He was a member of the advisory board of Grevenbrücker Kalkwerke GmbH in Grevenbrück and of the employers' association of the lime and dolomite industry in Wuppertal. From 1958 to 1967 he was a member of the Essen-Dortmund-Duisburg District Advisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG.
In 1952 he was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Nicola Cardinal Canali and invested in Cologne Cathedral on December 8, 1952 by Lorenz Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy .
