Pavilhão Multiusos de Odivelas
The Pavilhão Multiusos de Odivelas is a multi-purpose hall in the Portuguese district town of Odivelas .
The hall was built in the Colinas do Cruzeiro development in the immediate vicinity of the Estádio Arnaldo Dias , the stadium of the Odivelas FC football club , and was inaugurated in 2010. Architect José Cid created a complex of several halls on an area of 10,600 m². The main hall offers space for around 3,500 spectators and can be used for sports such as handball, basketball, futsal, roller hockey and volleyball. A smaller hall is available for sports such as basketball or volleyball. There are also three squash courts, a table tennis hall, one for chess and a conference room.
The hall is used for regional and national sporting events as well as for events of a cultural nature. Portugal is competing with the hall for the 2013 European Acrobat Championships .
