Paymentandbanking.com (Payment & Banking) is a German financial blog published by PBA Experts GmbH with a focus on financial technologies , mobile payment methods, banking and digitization as well as finance and economics. The offer provides an overview of the German and international fintech scene, provides information on trends in the payment and banking industry, developments in (digital) payment transactions and the digitization of banks.

The portal annually awards the industry prize "Fintech of the Year" and publishes on the blog, among other things, podcasts , infographics and mind maps , interviews and opinion-oriented articles such as comments.

Paymentandbanking.com was founded in summer 2012 by the entrepreneur and consultant André M. Bajorat. The website reaches around 400,000 visitors annually (as of December 2018). The number of page views per month is just under 35,000 (as of December 2018). In addition to its mind maps and infographics on various fintech, payment and banking topics, the blog is best known for its podcast, which reaches almost 35,000 listeners per month. In every podcast issue, people from the industry have their say and are asked about current topics.

The Payment and Banking team regularly participates as a speaker at industry events and congresses and gives lectures on specific specialist topics. Payment and Banking is the organizer of the Payment Exchange, an event by and for fintech, payment and banking experts, as well as the Banking Exchange, an event for fintech and banking experts and Transactions.io.

In 2016 paymentandbanking.com took second place in the Comdirect Finance Blog Award .

Paymentandbanking.com has been awarding an industry prize every year since 2014, the "Fintech of the Year" award. An audience award and a jury award, chosen by an expert jury, are awarded by voting . Every year, the specialist jury is made up of experts from a wide variety of areas, such as start-ups , investors , entrepreneurs and the media.
