Peña Tú is a prehistoric sanctuary near Puertas de Vidiago (eight kilometers east of Llanes ) in Asturias , Spain .

After a short ascent (footpath) one arrives at this Spanish national monument. It consists of a boulder with a height of about four meters and a width of 1.35 m. This boulder is shaped like a head and has paintings around 3,700 years old . It is evidently a place of worship from the Bronze Age . 36 burial mounds were found in the vicinity of Peña Tú . From here the panorama of the Sierra del Cuera opens up on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other.
