Pedro Cabrita rice
Pedro Cabrita Reis (born November 5, 1956 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese sculptor and installation artist. He is one of the most important contemporary artists in his country.
Career
Cabrita Reis' extensive installations revolve around the themes of house, dwelling, architecture and territory. He took part in documenta IX in 1992 . In 2003 he represented Portugal at the Venice Biennale. In 1998 he worked on the artistic design of the Olaias subway station of the Lisbon Metro.
